A:  Weather offshore is generally cooler. Wear warm, comfortable clothes & shoes. Bring a jacket for extra warmth or outerwear suitable for rain, if forecasted.  Mittens & hats can be worn, especially by those who are easily chilled & by small children.

A: Free Parking! Check out our Map webpage and our Interactive Visitor's map to Campobello for directions.  Leave the traffic jams & crowds behind as you enjoy our island's relaxed pace, the unspoiled beaches, pristine trails, and our rugged Bold Coast so well known in New Brunswick & Downeast Maine. Campobello Island has long been a popular, but little known vacation destination. 
A: Capt. Riddle can take you to the where you want to be, sooner & without scaring sea life away--our boat is designed to be faster & quicker. You will spend more time viewing our sea life, than traveling there. From start to finish, you will be amazed at the variety of marine life & lighthouses our area has to offer.  And, each Capt. Riddle tour is customized around our passenger's wishes.
Q: What about safety?
A: Captain Riddle's new boat is equipped with life preservers, GPS & radar, and has passed all Coast Guard inspections. Capt. Riddle's Whale Watch Cruises has years of maritime experience.
Q: What sea life is available in your area?
A: Finbacks, Humpbacks & Minkes are common, while other varieties are possible. The Gateway of Fundy is filled with whales, along with Basking Sharks, Tuna, Bottle-Nosed Dolphins and Porpoise. Eagles and other sea birds are plentiful. The many pristine islands in our area provide habitat for a rich variety of sea life.

Q: What about Customs? Will there be long lines of traffic?
A: No long waits at our US/Canadian border! The Campobello Island/Lubec crossing is one of the least busy Custom Stations. Most often, there will be no wait. At most, there will be only several cars in line. Crossing back and forth during your vacation will pose no time related problems.  Remember: Adults need a license or photo ID & children will need a photo ID or birth certificate.
